Montclair Climate Action continues to grow its reach in Montclair. Two recent mentions in local media highlight its cooperation with local officials to promote sustainability in climate action.
MCA members have worked closely with Lisa Johnson on a number of issues, including energy aggregation and composting. She was kind enough to mention us in her recent profile in the Montclair Local. We look forward to working with her on all the great initiatives she has in the pipeline.
MCA’s schools committee has been doing outstanding work in making sure that sustainability stays on the agenda for the Montclair schools. MCA recently was asked to join the citizens’ advisory council for the upcoming school renovations, and David Cantor, the BOE’s executive director of communications and community engagement recognized our efforts with a shout-out in an interview, also in the Montclair Local.
Both stories are a testament to the hard work of MCA volunteers. Here’s to a strong 2023 of more, and stronger, climate action!
